Speech Therapy

Nisar's speech-language pathologists are professionals who identify, assess and treat speech and language problems including swallowing disorders. They offer therapeutic interventions to adults and children in the areas of:

• Language
• Cognition
• Articulation
• Voice
• Fluency
• Communication disorders related to hearing loss, stroke, progressive neurological Disorders, i.e., Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis and autistic spectrum disorders.

Nisar is also a leader in the growing field of Accent Modification and Corporate Speech Pathology. This is an area where many employees have learned English as a Second Language and they may understand and read English extremely well, but have some difficulty being intelligible to listeners either in person or on the phone. This may affect the employee's self-confidence and contribute to lack of promotion. Such an employee may benefit from a program of accent reduction to facilitate, not accent free, but more intelligible English speech.

Both Accent Reduction and Corporate Speech Pathology services, are provided by a certified, licensed speech/language pathologist. Programs can be conducted individually, on a group basis either at the Nisar office, at the employing business's office or online.
